Job Description General Header Statement

This position reports to Engineering or Maintenance Manager and is based at the IHI site.

What Will You Do

The Utility Engineer is responsible for:

• Maintain Utility machinery in a good performance to support operations without any impact on product quality and safety.
• Manage and monitor Preventive Maintenance execution in the Utility area as scheduled to ensure minimize of major breakdowns.
• Initiate and implement energy cost saving to reduce utility operational costs.
• Follow and implement Utility PM SOP in all maintenance activity and comply according to Safety and Quality standard requirements.
• Manage repair and maintenance costs to ensure all the critical parts or components are stocked in proper quantity.
• Manage capital expense and identify and then propose it on an annual basis to replace or refurbish utility machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve and share practices of electrical troubleshooting to shop floor or technicians such as:

ü Failure of electrical parts.

ü Software malfunction.

ü Alarm of electrical component.

• To Ensure preventive maintenance activity and corrective maintenance are conducted as committed schedule.
• Conduct review and analysis of the technician work recorder hours and Maintenance work order.

ü All activity shall be captured on the work order record.

ü Work order shall be closed after finishing the job.

ü Escalation process shall be implemented to superior if troubleshooting is more than 2 hours.

• Coordinate and guide to solve the daily activity issue under pressure and tight target orientation in utility such as room pressure/ humidity/water/chiller/boiler and to ensure no impact on product quality and safety,
• Maintain and update drawing layout if any revision through due to audit or change management requirements.
• Support Emergency cases at any time needed if any long breakdown happens related to Utility machinery.
• Develop and review the practices of TPM, MTBF /MTTR, Electrical Panel, Switch gears, ACB / VCB, VRV, DG sets, Compressor, and Six Sigma tools.
• Review and conduct efficiency program from AHU, Wastewater treatment, chiller, Boiler, and Purified water treatment.
• Review and improve any issue related to the Building automation system (BAS) and Environmental Monitoring System (EMS).
• Support of EHS (Environment Safety and Health) program to comply with local and global standards.

Required Qualifications

The Utility Lead is responsible for engineering and design to support the sustainable operation of our Utility machinery system. This role works with teams across the organization and external, stakeholders, and leads technical projects as required.

Desired Qualifications

• Graduated from Polytechnic or bachelor’s degree, Majoring in Electrical engineering.
• Good in English.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical / Consumer and Welcome from fresh graduated.
• K3 Safety standard Certification will be advantage
