JOB PURPOSE
Manages social media activity as well as social reviews for the resort and ensured that they are managed well and in a timely manner. To provide assistance to the Digital Marketing Manager in content management and strategies, customer engagement, online marketing performance and assist at best to drive conversion to revenue. To fulfill required tasks to obtain maximum results in accordance with the hotel’s objectives and Sales & Marketing directives, including driving creative content to social media channels and engagement. To co-ordinate and maintain good rapport with the resort’s online reputation. Managing social media agencies and ensuring great results and performance on all social media channels.
Assists Digital Marketing Manager in executing online promotional and communications strategies, placement of Meta advertising, and other online promotional tools as directed.
Assists Digital Marketing Manager in developing an awareness of, and appreciation for, the richness of the cultural diversity, associates, and location.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education And Experience
Required:

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Business Administration or related major and 4 years experience in the sales, marketing or related professional area; hospitality marketing or agency experience preferred

Experience
Experience in a similar position, technology savvy including driving social media and social review management.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Managing the Resort and its business units’ social media accounts
  • Driving strategic, creative content for all social media accounts
  • Driving social media ads
  • Managing all social media agencies for maximum social media presence
  • Develop and execute social media strategies to align with company’s goals
  • Create and curate engaging content across social media platforms, such as IG, FB, LinkedIn, Youtube
  • Monitor all social media channels and respond to comments, messages and inquiries in a timely manner
  • Analyze social media data and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools and best practices to continuously improve our digital presence
  • Work with graphic designer, photographers and videographers to create visually appealing and compelling content
  • Engage with influencers and build relationships to amplify our brand reach
  • Monitor competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth

  • Managing and handling contact with all relevant influencers
  • Managing communication and maintaining good relationships with relevant influencers and continue to gain positive coverage for the resort.

SOCIAL REVIEW

  • Maintain timely response on all social review sites
  • Ensure to respond in 24 hours for any alerts occurred in social review sites as well as social media and communicate and liaise with relevant departments.

CORPORATE CULTURE

  • Uphold the Marriot International Care culture at all times to guests and fellow associates.
  • Provide support as required to the Director of Marketing Communications and Digital Marketing Manager
  • Align management style, working practices and conduct with Hotel, Corporate Values and policies. To comply with “Brand’s Code of Conduct at all times.

GENERAL

  • Be well versed and knowledgeable of “Brand” Fire and Evacuation procedures as well as health and safety requirements in the Workplace. Ensure Associates are aware of their duty of care as determined by legislation and that they maintain complete familiarity.
  • Undertake additional duties as requested by Department Manager and Hotel Management.
  • Deliver enthusiastic, positive, helpful and respectful client communication, ensuring precise and effective information transfer.
  • Respond to client queries within 24 hours of initial contact.
  • Ensure recovery calls are dealt with in an appropriate manner.
